Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. __NAME__ may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
__NAME__ is an endothelin receptor blocker. It blocks the action of endothelin (a natural substance) that causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict). This narrowing increases the pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. __NAME__ helps relax these blood vessels and increases the supply of blood to the lungs.
If you miss a dose of __NAME__, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
__NAME__ may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
__NAME__ is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
__NAME__ is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
__NAME__ may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As __NAME__ can induce hypotension (decrease of your blood pressure) which can make you feel dizzy and this can affect your ability to drive.
__NAME__ is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of __NAME__ is recommended.
__NAME__ should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of __NAME__ may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of __NAME__ is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
