Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. __NAME__ may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
__NAME__ is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. __NAME__ works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms.
If you miss a dose of __NAME__, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
__NAME__ may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
__NAME__ is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
__NAME__ is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of __NAME__ may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
__NAME__ may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
__NAME__ is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of __NAME__ may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of __NAME__ may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of __NAME__ in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
