Susp: Should be taken on an empty stomach. Take 2 hr before or 1 hr after meals. Cap: May be taken with or without food.
Oral Respiratory tract infections, Urinary tract infections Adult: 400 mg once daily for 10 days.
Child: <6 months: Safety and efficacy not established 6-12 years old or <45 kg: 9 mg/kg PO qDay; 400 mg/day PO for 10 days maximum >12 years old or >45 kg: As in adults
Renal impairment: CrCl (ml/min) 30-49 200 mg once daily. 5-29 100 mg once daily.
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. __NAME__ may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
__NAME__ is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
If you miss a dose of __NAME__, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Consuming alcohol with __NAME__ does not cause any harmful side effects.
__NAME__ is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
__NAME__ should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
__NAME__ does not usually affect your ability to drive.
__NAME__ should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of __NAME__ may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
