Pharyngitis, Susceptible infections, Sore throat, Tonsillitis, Urinary tract infection, Reproductive tract infection, Skin infections
May be taken with or without food. May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort.
Oral Tonsillitis; Skin and skin structure infections; Streptococcal pharyngitis; Urinary tract infections Adult: 1-2 g daily as a single or in 2 divided doses. Hepatic impairment: No dosage adjustment needed.
Oral Tonsillitis; Skin and skin structure infections; Streptococcal pharyngitis; Urinary tract infections Child: >6 yr <40 kg: 30-50 mg/kg daily as a single or in 2 divided doses, up to 100 mg/kg daily.
Renal impairment: CrCl (ml/min) 26-50 0.5-1 g bid. 11-25 0.5-1 g once daily. <10 0.5-1 g every 36 hr.
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. __NAME__ may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
__NAME__ is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
Consuming alcohol with __NAME__ does not cause any harmful side effects.
__NAME__ is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
__NAME__ is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Avoid prolonged use of __NAME__, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.
It is not known whether __NAME__ alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
__NAME__ should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of __NAME__ may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
__NAME__ is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of __NAME__ may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
