Generic: Calamine Zinc Oxide Glycerine  |  Dosage Form: Lotion  |  Manufacturer: Momotaz Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Indications

This combination lotion is used to relieve pain, itching, and discomfort from minor skin irritations such as poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. It also helps to dry the oozing and weeping caused by irritation due to these plants.

Dosage & Administration

Adult: Apply 3-4 times daily for 3-5 days.

Interaction

There are no known drug interactions for calamine/ zinc oxide topical.

Contraindications

History of hypersensitivity to any of the components.

Side Effects

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

For external use only. Not to be used on open wounds or burns.
